Klondike Park Paintout

The public is invited to visit Klondike Park to tour the grounds while observing the Plein Air artists recreating the scenes of Klondike Park. Park visitors will find more than 4 miles of natural and paved trails for hiking and biking. Once the site of an old silica sand quarry, the area has been preserved and turned into beautiful parkland. Art students from Lindenwood University will be painting along with the Augusta Plein Air artists.

Artist Details:
Paint Out 10 AM – 2 PM judging.  Klondike Park is 250 acres of scenic property. Once the site of an old silica sand quarry, the area has been preserved and turned into beautiful parkland. A unique lookout bluff provides picturesque views of the Missouri River Valley, as well as the historic Katy Trail. Artists may choose from a range of vistas of the Missouri countryside as the subject of their art. The $500 purchase prize provided by Lindenwood University.
